Partner Psychologist
Rebecca is a Chartered Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society Division of Occupational Psychology, registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health Professions Council and Member of the Association of Business Psychologists.
Rebecca is an Associate Consultant of Actualise. Previously Rebecca was a Senior Consultant with the recruitment consultancy TMP and prior as a Higher Psychologist on the Selection Policy team at the Department for Work and Pensions. Rebecca’s early career was in project management as a graduate trainee at Thomson Marconi Sonar.
Rebecca specialises in selection and assessment for recruitment and development. Her consultancy experience ranges from the design of recruitment strategies and methodology for critical business roles, to the design of telephone interviews and online sifting instruments, personality interviewing using a range of instruments (WAVE, OPQ, Coast, MBTI, Strengthscope and Me2), the design of bespoke assessment and development centre exercises and the evaluation of said materials to evidence their effectiveness in predicting good performers in critical roles.
Specific profiling, assessment and development projects completed include:
- Executive assessment and one to one profiling with Manchester City Council, NHS Salford Primary Care Trust, London Borough of Ealing and Nottingham County Council.
- Design and delivery of team building workshops for DWP Law & Special Policy Group, TMP Magnet and Standards for England management.
- Design of selection strategy and methodology including bespoke sifting and assessment centre design and delivery for E.ON, Sellafield Ltd, London Borough of Ealing, Department for Work and Pensions, HM Treasury and Housing Ombudsman Service.
- Design of online and telephone sifting assessment tools for the Department for Work and Pensions, British Army, United Utilities, Cooperative Financial Services and esure.
- Statistical and qualitative evaluation of assessment and development tools for Department for Work and Pensions, Royal Navy, E.ON, Morgan Stanley, Lloyds TSB and National Grid.
